Police and security forces begin investigations into the suicide bomb attack

The police and security forces have already started investigations into the suicide bomb attack occurred in the fort railway station yesterday .

12 people were killed in the incident. Director of the accident ward Dr. Anil Jasinghe says 9 bodies have been identified up to now 4 school children among them. 91 victims are now being treated at National Hospital and 25 were directed to emergency surgeries.

According to the security forces a female suicide carder had blown her self up after getting down from a commuter train. Minister Rishard Badeudeen says compensation to the victims of bomb explosion will be made today. A sum of one hundred thousand rupees will be paid for a dead person.

Meanwhile the railway control room says the railway services run as usual centred the Maradana railway station .
