Maldivian President will arrive in Sri Lanka

Maldivian President Abdul Gayoom will arrive in Sri Lanka for a two-day official visit tomorrow.
The Maldivian President makes this visit following an invitation by President Mahinda Rajapakse. The government has made arrangements to accept MR.Gayoom and his delegation with state honours. He will meet president Mahinda Rajapakse at the president’s office at 4.00 p.m. tomorrow.
The two countries will also enter several agreements during this meeting.  Sri Lankan president will present an honorary award to his Maldivian counterpart in appreciation of higher diplomatic and friendship relations between the two nations for three decades.
The visiting Maldivian president is scheduled to meet the prime minister, foreign minister and minister A.H.M. Fowzie.
