The peace talks will be held in Geneva on October 28th and 29th as decided. Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva will lead the government delegation comprised of Dr. Palitha Kohana the Director Peace Secretariat, Ministers Rohitha Bogollagama, Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, Ferial Ashroff and Niward Cabral the advisor to the President.

The clashes in the North East will not be a hindrance for the talks. The government has the right to retaliate if the LTTE launch attacks.
