Roads in Kandy under repair for forthcoming SAARC summit

63 kilometers of roads in and around the city of Kandy will be r4econstructed in time for the SAARC heads of state summit to be held in Kandy by the end of July this year.  The government is to spend a sum of 1.9 billion rupees in this regard.
Acting Chief Minister of the Central Province Ediriweera Weerawardena says among the roads to be repaired include the Kadugannawa-Kandy, Pallekele- Kandy,
 Katugastota- Kandy and the road that runs through the Peradeniya university from Galaha junction.
