A memorandum of understanding is to be signed that creates thousand employment opportunities annually in the construction sector. Foreign Employment Bureau says the agreement will be signed between a renowned Chinese government company and the Sri Lankan government on next week.
This is a result of the discussion held by the Minister of Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare Keheliya Rambukwella with the representatives of the relevant construction company at the United Arab Emirates. Deputy General Manager of the Foreign Employment Bureau L.K. Ruhunage says the company will recruit Sri Lankan employees after providing a proper training for the employees. During the training period the company has also agreed to give an allowance for the employees.
