Church removes Our Lady of Madhu Statue due to LTTE pressure

  Catholic clergy  removes the statue of OUR LADY OF MADHU from Madhu church Mannar under LTTE pressure in this evening. The Lady of Madhu shrine has been removed to a safe place. According to the recent reports the LTTE terrorists launched Mortar attacks on the MADU Church and closer areas. These attacks were also launched to the priests who were living in the church.The church has now been completely deserted.
