Air Force MI 24 attack helicopters destroy line of LTTE bunkers

 Air Force jet aircraft pounded a training camp of LTTE suicide cadres in the area WEST of MANKULAM today (07) in the morning around 6.15.

Pilots confirm the target was successfully engaged.

Meanwhile in the morning around 6.30 today (07) Air Force MI 24 attack helicopters   launched an attack on a line of LTTE terrorist bunkers   in the AREA SOUTH of MUHAMALAI in support of operations conducted by the Army in the area.

It is revealed that the entire line of LTTE bunkers were destroyed in the attack.
