President appoints new secretaries

President Mahinda Rajapakse has appointed new
secretaries to several ministries with effect from
today.
 The new secretaries are Mr. Thosapala Hewege for the
ministry of Ports and Aviation, Mr. D.T.P. Kollure for
the Ministry of Transport, Mr. W.A. Nihal Somaweera
for the ministry of Rural Industries and
Self-Employment Promotion, Mr. K.A.D. George Michael
for the ministry of tourism, Sunil S. Sirisena for the
ministry of Foreign Employment Promotion, and B.H.M.
Ratnasiri for the ministry of Entrepreneurship
Development and Investment Promotion.
 Mrs. Indrani Sugathadasa is the secretary to the
ministry of Plantation Industries since Friday.
