Tamil civilian shot dead by LTTE gunmen- Vavuniya

Alleged LTTE gunmen stormed into a shop and opened gunfire killing a Tamil civilian while leaving another severely wounded today (May 7) at Puntotam, Vavuniya around 6.45p.m.

The gunmen have immediately fled the area on a motor bike, sources said. Meanwhile, the injured civilian was rushed to the general hospital at Vavuniya.
