ICRC visits Vakarai

ICRC went to Vakarai yesterday forenoon to visit the war – torn places. The ICRC officials went to Vakarai by 7 boats from Valaichenai and brought 30 civilians who were injured in the attacks in Vakarai. The patients were taken to the Valaichenai Hospital from Vakarai Hospital.

The ICRC also assured the public that they would provide medical services for those who were in need. 30,000 civilians are affected in this area due to the war.
