Army assistances for war victims

Four, poverty stricken family women were provided with sewing machines and the students were provided with books and stationeries by the Vavuniya army civil coordinating office.

We are happy to help the poor people to ameliorate their living conditions. We contacted some organizations in Colombo and received these goods to help these poor families. This is our first attempt and we hope to continue this type of assistances to the poor families in Vavuniya, said the officials of Vavuniya army civil coordinating office.
