President Mahinda Rajapakse urged the fullest support, effort, commitment and co-operation of every citizen irrespective of one’s ethnicity, religion or party to resolve the national crisis.

He made this appeal when he addressed the “Wap Magul Mahothsavaya” under the slogan “Api Wavamu Rata Nagamu”(Let us cultivate and uplift the nation) held in the paddy field of the Balagollagama Viharagama at Nikaweratiya.
