image Those persons suspected to have disappeared in the Eastern province, in the past have actually not disappeared but left for other countries, according to information revealed by the Presidential Commission of inquiry.



The Commission has said that it has received valid information to believe that certain persons have taken the flights to some other countries using forged passports. Certain others had left their native villages for other districts due to threats by the LTTE, the Commission has said.
