Political ethics force Deputy Speaker to resign

image      Gitanjana Gunawardena has resigned as Deputy Speaker of Sri Lanka Parliament.  He has notified Speaker W.J.M. Lokubandara of his decision according to government sources. Mr. Gunawardena, whose brother Dinesh Gunawardena is Chief Government Whip, has cited political ethics as the reason for the resignation
