Two buses collide head-on in Bingiriya

Forty-nine passengers were injured in a head-on collission between two buses in Bingirya today. 

One of the buses was plying to Kurunegala from Halawatha and the other to Munneshwaram, Halawatha from Dambulla, on the Halawatha-Kurunegala Road. 

The injured were admitted to Bingiriya hospital. Nineteen of them who were seriously injured were transferred to the Chilaw hospital.
