President to proceed to US

image  President Mahinda Rajapakse is to participate in the session of UN assembly to be held in US New York and to address the Assembly on September 24.

 

A team of 65 representatives is to proceed with the President on the 22nd. A group is to leave for US next week for the pre arrangements. Ministers Rohitha Bogollagama, EPDP Secretary General and Social Services and Social

 

Welfare Minister, Douglas Devananda, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, C.B. Ratnayake and Champika Ranawaka are to join the President in this trip. After the session President is scheduled to meet the Sri Lankans in US at the New York Vihare.
